Dr. Wallace created the very first inaugural alumni weekend celebration at Central Community College, similar to a typical homecoming event.

During his time at Central Community College, Dr. Wallace created a full-length documentary about the Hastings Campus. Click this link to learn the amazing history connected to WW2.

Dr. Wallace created various apprenticeship opportunities for his students. His efforts led to the college receiving a $4 million dollar federal US DOL grant to expand student apprenticeships!

Dr. Wallace is a huge advocate for volunteering in his local community. He launched a employee volunteer program that yielded over 4,500 hours of community service by CCC Hastings Campus employees. Volunteerism ranged from cleaning up Good Samaritan living center, food drives, meal packing and even campus cleanup. Visit the video section to learn more!

This community event was a first of its kind in Dr. Wallace’s hometown. The event was catered towards bringing communities together for a fun, safe, free event for all of the community to enjoy. The event consisted giving back as attendees bring canned food for the local food pantry. Activities include free food, music, bounce houses, games, and more!

Dr. Wallace is recognized in the Virginia Business Magazine as one of the top 100 people to meet in 2023.

Dr. Jerry Wallace was appointed by Governor Glenn Youngkin to the Board of Trustees at the A.L. Philpott Manufacturing Extension Partnership, also known as GENEDGE.
